KC Printing started in a second bedroom of a house in 1988. It’s now a large-scale printing company. KC Printing was acquired in 2021 by State Graphics to allow us to continue to expand our capacity and serve you better. Despite the growth of the company we have remained focused on people. We focus on quality and customer service. Because we do not outsource, we can personally oversee the quality of everything that we do. From small, and personal to large and industrial jobs we guarantee the quality of all that we do.

Phil Claps
President & FounderPhil is a native of Palatine, IL. He founded KC Printing in 1988 in a small bedroom. Since then the company has grown to house more than 35 employees in a 25,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art printing facility. Previous to founding KC Printing Phil completed his Bachelors in Marketing and Communications from Western Illinois University.
Currently he and his family (wife and 4 kids) reside in Lake Barrington, IL. During his time away from KC Printing, Phil enjoys sports of all sorts. He especially prefers boating, golfing, hiking and playing softball.
Jennifer Scott
Promotional Products ManagerJennifer was born in Iowa and currently lives in Hoffman Estates, IL. Jennifer's background includes expertise in the areas of Pad Printing, Printing Brokers and Commercial Shops.
She has 15+ years experience in the Printing industry. She enjoys her job because she gets to work with fun people and she likes the challenging and exciting projects that she is responsible for executing on a daily basis.-
Chuck Rinchiuso
Account RepresentativeChuck has been an employee of KC Printing for the past 15 years. He has served in various roles including Purchasing Manager & Account Representative. Chuck graduated from Triton College with an Associates of Applied Science. He has a background in Automotive Technology & Large Machinery Industry. Chuck is a native of Elmwood Park, IL. He and his family of 5 (wife & 3 sons) currently reside in Elk Grove Village, IL. He enjoys cooking, working on his meridian-turquoise,1968 Firebird and attending auto shows (and watching Svengoolie).
Cara VanWie
Screen Printing Production ManagerHailing from Lincoln Square in the heart of Chicago, Cara has 30+ years of screen printing experience under her belt. Her role at KC is to prepare screens and manage all the screen printing orders that KC Printing completes. Cara currently resides in Wooddale, IL. She enjoys watching baseball, playing guitar, and her crazy cat (Sybil) & 2 turtles.
Amber Cybul
Customer Service RepresentativeAmber grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and had 15+ years of medical/customer service experience prior to coming to work for KC Printing. She has two cats and loves all animals. She is a vegetarian and enjoys cooking and baking. She has several tattoos which feature childhood cartoons from the 1980’s.
Kelly Blauw
Customer Service RepresentativeKelly was born and raised in McHenry, IL where she currently resides. Kelly has 10+ yrs of Customer Service & Management experience. In her off time she enjoys playing video games. Her favorite being Kingdom Hearts. Her other hobbies include caring for her dog, hiking and cooking. She doesn't cook meat though, because Kelly is a vegetarian.
Yahaira Marrero
Customer Service RepresentativeYahaira has lived in Chicago her whole life. She is a CSR who handles Jimmy John's accounts, working directly with their corporate office. She is the assistant to the sale manager. She has spent the past 3 years at KC Printing and has 6 + years Promotional Products & Printing experience. Yahaira has a 5 year old daughter. She enjoys painting with her and playing sports.
Paul Engelking
Production ManagerPaul was born in Des Plaines, IL and now resides in Lake Barrington, IL with his family of 3. He has worked for 9 years at KC Printing. He earned his Bachelors in Business from Eastern Illinois University. In college he did an internship with a printing company and has stayed working in the field every since. He has 30+ years of experience in the printing industry. He has a wife and a daughter. He enjoys coaching his' daughter's softball team and going on the Fox Chain of lakes in his 21-foot open bow boat. He also has played in a men's senior hardball league for the past 22 years.
Tony Caldrone
Shipping & Receiving ManagerTony was born in McHenry, IL and currently lives in Algonquin, IL. He has been with KC Printing for the past 2.5 years. Prior to working at KC Printing, he spent 8 years in the trade service industry. He has worked in various roles such as mechanic and carpenter. He has formal education as Medical EMT. He likes to play Frisbee Golf during his free time.
Kevin Rabine
General ManagerKevin was born in Miami, FL but moved to the Chicagoland area at a young age. He has lived in the region ever since. He has 17+ years of Printing experience and has spent the past 6 years at KC Printing. He started at KC Printing working inventory on the Night Shift and has worked his way up to KC's General Manager.
When he's not at work, Kevin enjoys sports of all kinds and working out. He also loves spending time with his 5 year old daughter & 3 year old son.
